Provision of Online Services and Web Hosting

To provide our online services securely and efficiently, we use the services of web hosting providers. When accessing our web pages, the following information is automatically stored in server log files:

  • IP address of the accessing device
  • Date and time of access
  • Browser type and version, operating system
  • Requested URL and referrer (called page)
  • Amount of data sent in bytes

The processing of this data constitutes personal data within the meaning of the GDPR. The processing is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring IT security, detecting and preventing attacks, and maintaining stable server operations. Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.

To protect our systems, we use CrowdSec, a GDPR-compliant open-source security solution based in France. In cases of suspicious technical behaviour (e.g. DDoS attacks, brute-force attempts, exploit scanning), the IP address is temporarily entered in a shared CrowdSec database. This serves to protect our infrastructure and the security of other CrowdSec users. The stored IP addresses are automatically deleted after a maximum of 30 days.

Contact Form and Email Contact

If you contact us via the contact form, the booking form, or by e-mail, your information will be stored for processing the request and for possible follow-up inquiries. This data will not be passed on without your explicit consent.

ALTCHA (Spam Protection)

Our forms use ALTCHA, a privacy-friendly spam protection solution. ALTCHA operates as a cryptographic challenge entirely on our own server — no data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against spam and abuse).

Embedded Content (YouTube, Mixcloud)

Our website embeds content from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Mixcloud (Mixcloud Limited, London, United Kingdom). This content is only loaded after your explicit consent (two-click solution). Before your consent, no data is transmitted to the respective providers.

After your consent, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective provider. The provider may receive your IP address and other technical data. If you are logged in to the respective service, the visit may be associated with your user account.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can revoke your consent at any time using the following button:

For further information on data protection, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective providers:

Umami (Web Analytics)

This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, open-source web analytics solution. Umami is operated on our own server (umami.wunner-software.de) — no data is transmitted to third parties. Umami does not collect personal data, does not set cookies, and does not store IP addresses. All data is collected anonymously and in aggregate form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in anonymous reach measurement).

Cookies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site (e.g. language settings). Additionally, consent cookies are set when you agree to embedded content (YouTube, Mixcloud), so that you are not asked again on every page load. These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising purposes. You can delete all cookies in your browser at any time.
